Paper 1 experience
For me, writing the small object/large subject essay was both fun but tough. I think that it was a fun essay to do because i got to write about something that i know about. Almost every essay I have had to write was about a topic that i had no interest in. This cause me to not want to write the essay so i wouldn't end up doing my best on it. But because it was something that i know a lot about and enjoy i did a better job because i wanted to write it. The essay was also tough though because it wasn't that easy to make the examples. It was hard for me to connect my object to what society feels and use example for it. But in the end i did have fun and i did a pretty good job on the essay.

I have to agree with you. Even though at first I thought the assignment should be so easy since we are writing about items that we use every single day that wasn't really the case. I thought i could write the five pages without a problem but when it came down to actually doing it I couldn't. But even though it wasn't exactly that easy I rather write about laptops or ipods than write a ten page research paper.
